Creating a blog

I'm a blogger!! I guess that's pretty pre-mature, but I'm going to try to keep up a blog for about the next 8 months. We'll see where it goes from there. During that time, I'll be studying at the Pontifícia Universidade de São Paulo in Brazil. I leave December 30, and I'd love to have this up and running (and figured out) before then. Well, here's my alpha-post.
